HERA Dance Collective – Heels, Commercial & Afro Heels at BOH Studios About HERA HERA was founded by dancers Abbey and Aaliyah to put the spotlight on female energy, movement, and style. What started as a dance class has grown into something more: a movement space, a community, a support system, and a creative home for women in Bournemouth. With a strong belief in empowerment through dance, HERA is about more than steps, it’s about confidence, expression, and connecting with others who share the same passion. About the Classes HERA runs weekly sessions at BOH Studios, with styles rotating each week between: • Heels – expressive, powerful routines that build confidence and technique. • Commercial – dynamic, high-energy choreography inspired by the music industry. • Afro Heels – a fusion of Afro-inspired movement with heels technique, bringing rhythm, power, and flow together. Each week, you’ll get something fresh and exciting, plus special guest teachers joining throughout the season to keep classes inspiring and unique. HERA is perfect for dancers who want to train regularly, try different styles, and be part of a community that lifts each other up both in and out of the studio.
